To serve those in need impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19), Marcus Samuelsson has partnered with Chef José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen (WCK) to provide meals at Red Rooster Harlem in NYC, Red Rooster Overtown in Miami, and Marcus B&P in Newark, NJ. WCK uses the power of food to strengthen communities through times of crisis and has transformed the field of disaster response to help devastated communities recover and establish resilient food systems. Thanks to an incredibly generous donation from Audible, we’ve been able to take the WCK partnership to the next level with the establishment of Newark Working Kitchens, a free, daily meal delivery service for Newark residents that activates local independent restaurants to cook delicious, healthy meals for those in need.
