I love ice cream, I do. Especially when the weather gets warm, there’s nothing like some smooth and creamy ice cream to cool you down! So, when I get the itch for some ice cream with out the guilt, I reach for this no fail recipe.

Kids and adults both go crazy for this recipe!! You can make a million variations by adding frozen berries, using almond milk or coconut water instead of plain water, adding almond butter, or even adding chocolate chips – the possibilities are truly endless!!

So next time you got the itch for some ice cream, try this guilt free recipe and enjoy with the whole family! This also makes a great pre or post workout treat!

2 ripe bananasthat have been peeled and then frozen

2 tbsp chocolate powder

splash of vanilla extract

teeny tiniest pinch of sea salt- and I mean tiny!

enough waterto blend

stevia, to taste (optional)

sprig of mint(optional)

Mix all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender until smooth. This will be the consistency of soft serve. If you'd like it to be a little more dense just put the blended mixture in the freezer for about 10 mins before serving.
