NW Elixirs founder and creator Chef Andrew Garrett is an award-winning chef who has a worldly passion for food and life . His travels have allowed him to become familiar with cooking with a wide range of ingredients and flavor profiles, which show through in his spicy elixirs. Growing up in Sonoma, California, Chef Andrew was introduced to the concept of local and healthful eating at a young age and therefore accepts nothing but the best for his "HOTT" sauces. Another plus: His delectable sauces are never made with refined sugars or gums.

What that means? They don't burn when heated in cooking. Instead, richer and bolder flavor is induced.

NW Elixirs

NW Elixirs #1 Hott Sauce. #1 is a habanero based sauce and is the most versatile out of the 4. Similar to Tabasco (but way better), Hott sauce can go from eggs to soups from marinades to mayonnaise. The possibilities are endless!

NW Elixirs #2 Verde Hott:  Made of Serrano and jalapeno peppers, tomatillos, cilantro, and agave, #2 is my personal favorite (it must be the Californian in me). Reminiscent of a tomatillo salsa, this sauce is packed with bright flavor sure to give your Shrimp Tacos with Crema, Pork Shoulder, quinoa or simple mixed greens salad dressing a fresh and tangy twist.

NW Elixirs #3 Hott Smoke: In #3, Chipotle flavors rein supreme. With its smoked onions, garlic, and ancho chilies it tastes exactly like BBQ sauce minus all that riffraff (e.g. ketchup and loads of sugar). Seriously, you got to try it, you will be amazed at how Chef Andrew is able to develop such rich flavor without those two... We keep tasting it in bafflement (and delight!) This one is also a prime example of deepening flavor as it cooks on your food. So next time you decide to grill or roast (food, that is), grab a bottle of #3.

NW Elixirs Bangkok Hott #4: The only non-vegetarian sauce, # 4 contains fish sauce, Thai chilies, lemongrass, coriander and basil. This sauce is has great acidity and bite and is ideal for a wide range of Asian dishes like Asian Eggplant Stir Fry, Grilled Pork Tenderloin Satays with Basil Corn on the Cobb , and Malaysian Hot and Sour Noodles with Tofu and Bok Choy, to name a few.
