We've heard your cries and not to worry, we know we have yet to mention all of the Fall food events that are upcoming.Â Along with all the previously-mentionedÂ food festivals going on this fall, there will also be a number of smaller food events happening over the next few months. Here's a list of some of the one or two day festivals that might be worth checking out.
September at Macy's Kitchen, New York City -Â During the month of September, nine of NYC's best Chefs will be demonstrate a variety of cooking skills and techniques at the Cellar Kitchen in the Herald Square Macy's on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1pm.
Le Grand Fooding New York, New York City - The 2011 edition of New York's Le Grande Fooding will feature the September 16 Campfire Session from 6 to 10 pm, as well as the Exquisite Corpse event open around the clock from September 23rd at 9pm to the 25th at midnight. The Campfire Session will feature an assortment of dishes from, among others, Chef Wylie Dufresne and musician James Murphy. The Exquisite Corpse will feature a roster of celebrity chefs-collectively known as Nikoalan Nselurfueymardcora-running a 52 hour pop-up restaurant in Chelsea.
New York Botanical Garden Conservatory Kitchen, New York City - On October 9 to 11, and again from the 16 to 17, the Botanical Garden Conservatory Kitchen will be hosting celebrity chef demonstrations and tastings from food industry giants like Marion Batali and Todd English.
Harvest on the Harbor, Portland, Maine - The weekend of October 20 will see a premiere food and wine experience from some of the best chefs and wineries throughout Maine. This year will mark the fourth anniversary of this annual festival designed to showcase the culinary excellence that can be found throughout the state.
Wisconsin Original Cheese Festival, Madison, Wisconsin - The third annual Wisconsin Original Cheese Festival celebrates the state's growing number of dairy artisans and original cheeses. The two-day event will be held form November 4 to 5 in downtown Madison.
New York Taste, New York City - On November 7 from 6 to 9 pm, New York Magazine will be hosting a charity event with food from around the world prepared by some of the best restaurants in the city.
Willamette Valley Wine Country Thanksgiving, Willamette Valley, Oregon - If you're in the Willamette Valley region of Oregon, celebrate this year's Thanksgiving weekend with the 29th annual Wine Country event where over 150 wineries-many of which are normally closed to the public-and tasting rooms will open their doors for a special preview of the upcoming offerings or some of their older vintages.
