Best Food Writing 2010

The new edition of Best Food Writing 2010 is now available.  With so much food writing out there to read through, and so little time to do it, I turn to this great annual compilation of food writing for an interesting read.  There are excerpts from books, articles from magazines, as well as from newspapers and websites.  This well-curated selection of the best writing about food is easy to turn to when I only have time for one article. It's great to see a compendium of articles whose subjects reach from "ethical Carnivores" to "How to Make Perfect Thin and Crispy French Fries."  Editor Holly Hughes gives you a taste of everything food-related in diverse topics from memoir pieces in the "Personal Tastes" section to restaurant and food reviews in the "Dining Around" section.  I love the various points of views, and it keeps me thinking even when I'm super busy.
