Often times known as a remedy for the common cold, the Hot Toddy is traditionally a cocktail of whiskey, hot water, sugar, and lemon. Although the ingredients make it seem like a cold remedy, this drink is very popular in the cold weather that will surely warm you up even after the coldest storm.
In this recipe, we’ve added a dash of freshly grated nutmeg but feel free to add a variety of other garnishes like clove, cinnamon, or star anise that can add that hint of holiday flavor to your Hot Toddy. So cuddle up during this cold winter with this warm drink and someone you love.
