Garlic is one of the most highly regarded home remedies on the planet. Chopped, minced or whole cloves of garlic can be added to olive oil to create a delicious and medicinal cooking and dressing oil. Add garlic to your taste and store in the refrigerator for up to 1 month. My favorite way to enjoy garlic is roasted. 6 heads of garlic
Extra virgin olive oil
Whole grain bread
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Cut off 1/4 to 1/2 inch of the top, exposing the cloves.
3. Liberally cover with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and cover with top of garlic head. Wrap in foil and roast for 30-40 mins.
4. Allow to cool, remove cloves and mash with olive oil creating a smooth paste. Season to taste with salt.
Serve with whole grain bread
