Rhum Clement ‘Ti Punch Recipe

No, it’s not a misspelling. While rum has been the bastard child of the liquor family (at least to most Americans who rely on the cheap stuff to put in their Rum & Cokes), good rum is having a moment. While the “real” stuff is produced in Martinique, you can find some of the best quality rums at your local store. Just do your research to find your favorite ones, then bring it home to make this super easy and super refreshing cocktail to start your weekend (or weekday evening) right.

Tradition has it that ‘Ti Punch should be served chacun prépare sa propre mort, roughly “each prepares his own death,” meaning that the ingredients should be laid out on a table to allow people to make their own concoction. Whatever method you choose, it’ll suit you to a Ti’.

¾ oz Clement Sirop de Canne

½ oz fresh lime juice
