We hosted chefs Jonathan Waxman and Pete Evans at Ginny's this Spring for Fine Cooking's Moveable Feast, a much welcomed opportunity to highlight the Harlem Farmers Market as well as Chef Waxman and Marcus's favorite recipes. Gathering an illustrious group of food journalists and friends--Adam Sachs, Kate Krader, Veronica Chambers, Sidra Smith, Rebekah Maysles, and Bevy Smith, to name a few--we all sat down to enjoy the Barbuto chef/owner's famous Gnocchi with Spring Vegetables (the trick is to freeze them!) and Lamb Chops with a kale and fingerling potato salad. Over on the Red Rooster side, Marcus whipped up Twice Fried Yardbird, showing Pete how to flavor the oil, and a Pickled Trout with root vegetables. Check out the entire episode here.
