Trying to lose weight but struggling? What if there were an iPhone app that counted the calories in your meal based on a photograph? Well now there is! MealSnap generates a caloric range for any photo of food you send in. Even though the ranges can sometimes be large, for example, a writer at MobileCrunch tried the app out with a handful of cashews, which came back as between 150-614 calories.
While it may not be ultra-precise, it's great to have an idea of how many calories you're taking in, especially if you're trying to lose weight!
