Today, Red Rooster Harlem chef/owner Marcus Samuelsson announces the appointment of Michael Garrett as executive chef. Garrett, a member of Marcus' culinary team for the past eight years, including tenure as corporate chef of Marcus Samuelsson Group, and a key member of the Red Rooster Harlem opening staff, succeeds executive chef Andrea Bergquist.
"We are pleased to promote Michael Garrett to Red Rooster Harlem's executive chef," says Samuelsson. "Michael's been an integral part of our culinary team for nearly a decade, and his experience and passion make him an ideal candidate to lead our kitchen.
