ANTHONY BOURDAIN Anthony Bourdain exploded into public awareness in 2000 with his New York Times-bestselling book, Kitchen Confidential: part-memoir, part-expose, all honest-to-God truth (although fans of Brasserie Les Halles would have known Bourdain as the executive chef there since 1998). In the years following, Anthony has also added food explorer and master storyteller to his resume, traveling around the world to share how different sectors of the world eat and live. He has also won a couple Emmys (for No Reservations and Parts Unknown) and appeared on/created a couple shows (Top Chef, No Reservations, The Layover, and Parts Unknown) before joining the mentor panel at The Taste.
NIGELLA LAWSON Having worked as a restaurant critic, a cookbook writer, a cooking show host, and a food show judge, Nigella Lawson shows just how far a passion can take you. Nigella, who never trained as a professional chef, inspires all home cooks to follow their dreams. Nigella's approachable style toward cooking has won her a number of accolades, including author of the year at the British Book Awards, best television food show at the World Food Media Awards, and an Emmy nomination.
LUDO LEFEBVRE Ludo Lefebvre takes his classical French training and infuses it with spirit and innovation. After entering the U.S. restaurant scene as executive chef first at the luxurious restaurant L'Orangerie and then at Bastide (he won Mobil Guide Five Star Awards for both), Ludo switched up his approach and began a series of pop-up restaurants, Ludobites, which have limited runs inside other restaurants. Ludobites make delicious and refined food accessible—provided you can get a reservation, which may be hard (but not impossible!) due to the wild popularity of the restaurant series.
