Running from noon to 6pm this Sunday, June 19th, the Cycling Classic will have several cycle-racing events throughout the day and will mark the 38th edition of the annual David Walker memorial race.Various events like the Shimano Youth Cup for racers 12 and under, a fixed-gear-bike race, BMX stunt performances, and, of course, the multi-part David Walker Memorial Pro race will take place throughout the day. On top of that, more than half a dozen food vendors and restaurants will be on hand to offer delicious dishes for the hungry race fans. Red Rooster is proud to be a part of this event and will be serving free biscuits, lemonade, and iced coffee from 4 to 6pm. Other vendors like the famous Dinosaur BBQ restaurant and the Rickshaw Dumpling truck will be serving food during the entire event.
Events like this are a great way to get the Harlem neighborhood out and together to further build the great sense of community in the area. By offering so many different types of cycling events at the Classic, members of the community will be able to enjoy a great day together.
This event is the only professional cycling race in New York City and is sure to offer both bicycling and food fans something to be excited about.
