For many aspiring chefs, the cost of culinary education can be prohibitive. Careers through Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP) gives many students across the United States an opportunity to pursue their dreams. The program prepares students for jobs in the food-service industry through internships and scholarships.
Last Friday, April 29th, was an incredible day for many of these future chefs. C-CAP provided over $411,000 in scholarships, cash, and merchandise at the 2011 C-CAP New York Awards Breakfast at The Pierre in New York City. The event was super emotional and inspiring. It means so much to me to be a part of this organization, which truly makes dreams come true.
