Target Harlem Launch Event

I had a great time last night at the Target Harlem Launch Event. It was really exciting to celebrate the opening on 116th Street and see such a great crowd uptown. I did two recipe demos, a summery tomato watermelon salad and sweet chocolate pancakes, while Doug E. Fresh was performing on the main stage. Target launched my kitchen textiles line along with Isabel & Ruben Toledo’s beach wear and Stephen Burrows clothing collection. They will be available at Target in Harlem on July 25 and at target.com and select stores on August 1.

I can’t wait to take the wife to target in Harlem. I hope i can find my share of sushi knives and a new omelette pan!
